Tala Ceramic Blackbird Pie Funnel

Tala presents the Blackbird Pie Funnels, which allow steam to escape, helping the pie crust remain crisp and golden brown. The funnel also provides support for the top crust, preventing it from collapsing or sagging in the centre. This feature is particularly useful for fruit pies, where the filling can be quite juicy. Pie funnels have been used since Victorian times, originally developed as simple ceramic funnels. The bird shape became popular later, possibly inspired by the nursery rhyme "Sing a Song of Sixpence."
